NANNO 3600

NANNO 3600

DESCRIPTION

Nanno 3600 is our original high-yield rotifer feed. It is single species (Nannochloropsis) and produces phospholipid rich rotifers. It also provides a high Feed Conversion Rate with minimal organic waste in the tank, and gives an EPA and ARA pre-enrichment boost for use with high DHA enrichment protocols.

BENEFITS OF NANNO 3600:

Optimum Enrichment — Supports HUFA enrichment.

Healthy Rotifer Cultures — Rapid growth and reduced bacteria loads.

High Yields — Rotifers can double daily at densities over 8,000 L-Type rotifers per ml.

Concentrated, Clean, Liquid Form — Exceptionally clean and easy to use with minimal foaming or clumping, which means less time spent maintaining cultures.

Long shelf life — can be kept frozen for two years.

FOR AQUACULTURE USE ONLY NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.

TP 1800

TP 1800

DESCRIPTION

Thalassiosira pseudonana is a small diatom (4.5-8 µm x 6-10 µm) that is used in the shrimp and bivalve larviculture industry. This alga has been found to be excellent for larval shrimp. Unlike many diatoms, the omega-3 fatty acid profile of Thalassiosira pseudonana provides, in addition to ample EPA (20.5% of fatty acids), significant DHA (6.3% of fatty acids).

Features
TP 1800 is good for culture and enrichment of copepods and brine shrimp.
Due to its balanced omega-3 fatty acid profile, TP 1800 is a very good feed for larvae, post-set and broodstock of oysters, clams, mussels, and scallops.
TP 1800 can be fed from zoea well into the PL phase. This is a real advantage because the high lipid and carbohydrate levels continue to boost survival and growth rates.

SD Aquarist

SD Aquarist

SDaquarist is a mix of six marine microalgae – Isochrysis, Pavlova, Tetraselmis, Chaetoceros calcitrans, Thalassiosira weissflogii and Thalassiosira pseudonana – a blend of the most widely used marine microalgae, chosen by top universities and commercial aquaculture facilities for their superior nutritional value. This mixed diet provides excellent nutrition that has demonstrated success with a variety of shellfish and other invertebrates such as bivalves, brine shrimp, tube worms and sea cucumber larvae.

Features and Benefits

Provides excellent nutrition for bivalve species and other filter feeders, from first feeding larvae all the way up through broodstock, increasing both growth rates and survival
Same nutritional value of live algae in an easy-to-use form
Healthy balance of omegas, lipids, proteins and critical sterols
Intact cell structure means a cleaner tank, less waste, and greater value
Use for complete algae replacement or to increase algal diversity when using live algae
6 month shelf life (refrigerated)

Use and Storage

Storage
Refrigerate (33-42°F / 1-5°C)
Do not dilute for storage
Best Before Date (Shelf Life)

It has been sized especially for Breeders, Aquarists, and Propagators and includes both a pH buffer and ClorAm-X® (ammonia neutralizer). It has a long refrigerated shelf life of at least 6 months.

Features and Benefits

refrigerated, not frozen
Includes ClorAm-X (ammonia control and a pH buffer
Clean, high yield rotifer feed
Maximizes levels of DHA, EPA and ARA
Stand-alone feed or in combination with one of our enrichment products
Suitable for a wide range of zooplankton
Fully intact cells
Cell size range 1.5 – 12 µm

Use and Storage

Storage

Refrigerate (33-42°F / 1-5°C)
Do not dilute for storage

Best Before Date (Shelf Life)

6 months

Rotifer Culture Directions (100 – 250 rotifers per mL)

Feed enough to keep culture water light green
Feed twice or more a day
For maximum productivity, do not let water go clear

Advanced Directions

Feed 11 ml per day per 1 million rotifers to be harvested. For example: Population of 5 million to be harvested at 20% per day, or population of 2.5 million to be harvested at 40% per day, etc.

Maximum production requires higher density cultures, which require more frequent feedings. For best results feed at least every 3 hours using a pump and timer.
